Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) lawyer Barrister Salman Safdar met party founder Imran Khan and his wife, Bushra Bibi, at Rawalpindi’s Adiala Jail on Monday, 2 November 2026.
In a post on X, Safdar said jail authorities facilitated the meeting at 4:30pm after repeated applications and requests. The meeting lasted about 40 minutes.
Safdar said it was his first meeting with Imran Khan in seven months and with Bushra Bibi in 11 months. He said the session was insufficient to cover all pending cases and legal matters.
According to Safdar, both Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi briefed him on their health conditions and living conditions in jail, and gave him fresh instructions regarding some legal matters and cases.
The meeting follows a September 2026 Islamabad High Court direction to jail authorities on access and facilities for the couple.
